Our Philosophy
We practice the art of holistic skincare. Our philosophy embraces the idea of beauty as a feeling. We recognize the beauty within us and around us without the need to imitate youth. To us, this means an approach to healing that is both internal and external. When it comes to our body’s largest organ, we believe in sharing an experience that both calms the mind and heals the skin.
Physically - Our goal is to restore and heal the skin to its optimal health through our unique treatment design. We want to emphasize that we are not trying to reverse aging and we are not about “anti-aging.” Everyone is aging, we embrace it, we respect it, and we believe that it is a privilege. We offer the best possible, research-backed combination of ingredients, modalities, and touch therapies tailored to your unique skin to treat, prevent, and heal common conditions of the skin.
Mentally - We love the benefits that touch therapy can have on the immune system and the mind. There’s something about the sensory experience of touch, aroma, temperature, and sound that has an immediate and profound affect on calming the mind and reducing stress in the immediate moment. We take a dramatic approach to this as each treatment has sensory experiences woven throughout from start to finish to allow you to feel good in your skin.
Our treatments are also offered in a beautiful, welcoming space adorned with plants, candles, tea, and warmth no matter how cold it is outside. All are welcome!
About Us, Two Sisters
-
I am a licensed esthetician and artist in Chicago, Illinois. I spent much of my life hiding my skin under a thick veil of makeup– I grew up struggling with my skin and didn’t know how to properly care for it. My experience with my skin is what brings me here today, as I am passionate about helping people feel beautiful and confident in their skin without having to hide. I believe that treating the skin is nuanced and requires a holistic and personal approach, and I hope to provide that for you.

My educational background is in Psychology and I’m excited to merge this with skincare treatment as an esthetician. While I have been an esthetician for a few years so far, skincare has been a part of my life since adolescence, particularly in the treatment of acne. I can relate to those that have had to undergo Accutane and its powerful effects both bad and good. Fast forward to the recent past, like many I can also relate to experiencing the horrible deep cystic acne caused by hormones or PCOS. My experiences with acne are what propelled me into formally becoming a part of the skincare field. Acne as are many other common conditions of the skin can be so debilitating not just on our physical bodies, but mentally in how we perceive and feel about ourselves and our own beauty. I really want to share an experience that provides alleviation and comfort - a place to calm the mind and heal the skin and spread the message that beauty is a feeling.
